Random Events (!) are different every time. Look for the exclamation point (!) to right of the shop and click on it. Event progress is dependent on the number of players who join, but they're typically over within 45 minutes.
Magic Tree - Click on a tree in the event tab (!) on your DH2 account. You gain points gradually based on your tree cutting skill. At the end of this event you get logs based on the amount of points you got.

Dirt Pile - Just like the Tree event except with a pile of dirt. But this event is based on your Farming skill. At the end of this event you get seeds based on the amount of points you got.
